About Folk & Proper

“Socio-journalism” is a double entendre defining the practice of premium, industry-standard journalism specifically including the word “seemingly” to apply comparisons, opinion, and humor; as well as the subordinating conjunction, “to the effect of,” which allows context outside of direct quotes. The “socio-” prefix’s pun jokingly alludes to sociopathy within Folk & Proper’s writing.

Folk & Proper is a timeless, local socio-journalistic news publication reporting for the Middle Tennessee and surrounding areas. Folk & Proper practices under the direction of B.E.Harmon, LLC. Unless otherwise specified, all rights are reserved to B.E.Harmon, LLC.

The physical Folk and Proper newspaper circulates as a free, area quarterly publication in Middle Tennessee circa August 2023.
