Murfreesboro, TN – CoreLife Eatery of Murfreesboro has recently added a Hi Five Hotdogs, indoor hot dog cart to their dining room, offering customers a new adventure to delve into during their menu experience.
Co-owner of area-CoreLife branches: Franklin and Murfreesboro, Kelsey Searles, held a soft opening, free to the public, promoting the off-to-the-side, Hi Five cart’s wares with free menu items, June 18, 2025.
“Everything’s free [for this soft opening],” said Searles.
“Since we’re gonna be opening to the public we’re making sure our systems are all…”
“A bus of kids just came in (laughs a little),” expressed a Hi Five customer.
“Yeah,” said Kelsey. “We’ve got a really good kid’s menu, too.”

“My husband and I are the owners at CoreLife, and we […] right now, it’ll be housed here. TBD, y’know, as a testing base, and this booth will be doing gourmet hotdogs, grilled cheese melts, and we’ve got a very nice kid’s menu. Got some stuff to go on the side, like chips… [directs to the far side of cart as well as the menu (first Customer is locked in)].”
“So today, what we’re doing is, you won a 100% beef hot dog –or grilled cheese melt,” said Searles.
“And then we also have a few sides [showing off the menu]. -The stuff in red [check mark] is what we have today [only lacking the Mexi-Cali Hi Five dog, waiting on lime and roasted jalapenos], and then the kids’ meals is on the other side, then the sides and desserts (“Today is Moon Pie, and our homemade, banana pudding”).

A Searles daughter was back in the kitchen whipping up Hi Five’s banana pudding for the afternoon, with her dad, and co-owner of the area-Middle Tennessee CoreLife eateries, Scott Searles.
“Scott, you got a nice hot dog cart out there, man. How long do you think it’ll be out there?” asked F&P.
“Forever,” Scott said.
Back at the hot dog cart: “Okay, you’re going to see me a lot. I love hot dogs to the point I may stop here after everywhere else to only get hot dogs,” laughed a customer.
“Well, make sure you sign up,” said Kelsey.
“I’ve already signed up,” said customer. “I signed up online.”
“You get five visits, automatically, this week, and then you get a bonus, and then every time you work up to a free [hot dog] [ten visits],” Kelsey explains.
“Okay. I signed up.”

“Cool!”

Kelsey to her daughter, busy at banana pudding: “I need you to come over here and help, because I’m gonna jump on the line and help them with this tour bus…”
